Best value, young merlot fr Chile, interesting seems like Chile does produce quite a few range of gd wine thats value for money:)
Pinot Noir(young pinot swt summer-fruit fragrance & taste, when mature able to achieve complex aromas of truffles, game & decaying leaves...wads game??? decaying leaves...smells like wet soil to me)- Grand Cru Burgundies fr Cote d'Or pinnacle of Pinot.
Best value again Chile. If wanna taste true Burgundy, try Bourgogne Rouge fr leading Burgundy producer.
Shiraz/Syrah( intensely rich, intensely spicu, intensely swt-fruited, or even all 3 flavours!!! Might be the Torres wine which i drank gonna ask tak)-Hermitage or Cote-Rotie,Grange fr Aus)
